Two-day Int'l Seerat Conference to begin in Islamabad today

PM Imran will preside over inaugural session of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conference.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Two-day International Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will begin in Islamabad today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Dr Noorul Haq Qadri has said that opening session of the conference will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan whereas President Dr Arif Alvi will preside the closing session on the second day of the event.

Prominent scholars from all religions and factions from across the world will participate in the conference and would highlight the personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

A large number of scholars from Iraq including Dr Ammar Naqshwani have reached Islamabad while scholars from India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries are expected to reach the federal capital today to participate in the conference.
